Poetry is another way I express myself. I began writing poems when I was 23, inspired by love, so most of my work takes the form of love lyrics—sometimes in a slightly unusual style. I’m grateful to Julianna Obukhova, who continues to inspire me.

I’ve also written pieces in other genres: philosophical lyrics, satire, civic poems, pop songs, Russian rock, and singer-songwriter styles. In total, I have only about twenty poems. They are all written in Russian, and translating them while preserving both meaning and emotion is quite challenging. If you don’t know Russian, you can simply listen to the audio recordings.
